Apartment M & M offers comfortable accommodation in the heart of green Istria, in a small village Zeci, 3 km from the medieval town Žminj. The apartment is located on the first floor of a family house with a spacious courtyard with shrubs and trees. The house is situated on the edge of a quiet hamlet Zeci, surrounded by greenery and nature.
The accommodation is suitable for family vacation in Istria, as well as for enthusiasts of recreational vacation and activities in nature such as picking lavender or grapes, and gathering honey.
Apartment M & M is a spacious apartment of 90m2 which sleeps 4-5 persons, it is located on the first floor, and has a separate entrance.
The apartment consists of a spacious open plan living room/dining area/kitchen, two bedrooms (double bed and two single beds), bathroom (toilet / shower) and balcony with beautiful view of the countryside and nature.
Apartment has air conditioning, Sat TV, complimentary internet .. Parking place for 2 cars is provided in the house courtyard.
The guests have use of a family terrace with a stone table under the shade of the kiwi, the possibility of using the grill and the summer kitchen with a fireplace., as picking lavender or grapes, and collecting honey.
Your hosts Milena and Mirko are involved in eco-farming and guests can purchase homemade products such as eggs, honey, olive oil, wine, and seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Friendly hosts also invite their guests during their holiday to a traditional dinner with local specialities.
Žminj is a small town located in the centre of the Istrian peninsula. It is surrounded by fields and gardens, forests, pastures, and roads that come out of town on all sides and like a spider net connect 103 villages which can be visited on a pleasant walk or by bicycle.
The center of town is dominated by a large, baroque Parish Church St Mihovil built the 1625th on the foundations of the church from the 12th century.
In Žminj are three churches with fresco paintings, namely church of St. Trinity painted in 1471, the church of St. Cross and church of St. Anthony Abbot from 1381. year
At the entrance to the town is the church of St. Bartholomew, where traditionally on the last Saturday in August is held the largest Istrian folk festival - Bartulja.
In Žminj, along the road, on the trails and meadows you can see many little stone houses called kažuni . They once served as a shelter from rain to the farmers and as a tool shed and harvested crops. Today kažuni are only monuments of the past. Surroundings of Zminj is known for many rural facilities that offer authentic Istrian cuisine and traditional atmosphere.
